We do a preliminary evaluation of the owner's program, schedule,
and construction budget requirements, each in terms of the other.
Based on early schematic designs and other design criteria
prepared by the architect, our staff will prepare preliminary estimates
of construction cost, using area, volume, or similar conceptual
estimating techniques.
Shireman will expeditiously review design documents
during their development and advise on proposed site use
and improvements, selection of materials, building systems
and equipment, and methods of project delivery.
We then will prepare and periodically update a project schedule
for the architect's review and the owner's acceptance.
Following that approval, we will update and submit the latest estimate.
